jn.gL / Jungle
Four letters, one mark
An outline derived from small-seal 軍 surrounds the four letters j, n, g and l.
Character & name
From name to form
军 (Jun) is the last character of my Chinese name. The outline comes from small-seal 軍, while the four spaces of 車 supply the arrangement of j, n, g and l. The final symbol removes the 車 skeleton, retaining all four letters with a round dot and rounded strokes.
Remove the vowels u and e from Jungle and jngl remains. Add a dot and it becomes the domain jn.gl. The mark brings together my Chinese name, English name and domain.

The form of 軍
The silhouette draws on the small-seal form of 軍, the traditional character for 军, the last character of my name. Curves wrap around the centre and extend above and below, preserving the flowing turns of seal script.

The symbol retains the outline at approximately 1.30 times its original weight. The interior restores the four-letter j, n, g and l composition, with shared hooks and continuous curves inspired by seal script. All four frame terminals are refined into semicircles to echo the letters and round dot. The symbol and round dot share #800080, a true purple; dark backgrounds use the lighter purple #E099E0.

Before the 車 structure was removed, the dot above j stood in for the left-hand part of its upper horizontal stroke. When the horizontal bars and central vertical were removed, the four letters remained, including the dot above j. It is now a circle matching the stem width, raised slightly to complement the rounded body and outline.
The showcase presents the symbol on light and dark backgrounds. The favicon and touch icon extract the round-dot j for clarity at small sizes.
