Hi, I am Qiangjun Ran. My English name is Jungle. I live in Pengshui, Chongqing.
I work remotely as a Drupal Developer full-stack developer, product manager, and technical lead for a company with headquarters in London. I started this work in 2017.
I study Vietnamese. My Vietnamese name is Nhiễm Cường Quân.

- I earned a Master of Engineering in Electronic and Communication Engineering at Chongqing University (2010–2013).
- I earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Information Science and Technology at Xinjiang University (2005–2009).
Drupal
- I ranked among Drupal's top 30 individual contributors in 2019–2021, based on weighted contributions. I ranked 10th in 2020–2021 and 18th in 2019–2020.
- I received a DrupalCon Asia 2016 scholarship for the conference in Mumbai, India.
About Jungle and jn.gL
My English name is "Jungle". The first three letters, "Jun", come from the pinyin spelling of "军", the last character of my Chinese name.
The last character of my father's name is "林", which means "forest". This meaning is close to the Chinese meaning of "Jungle". I chose "Jungle" as my English name for this reason.
I removed the vowels from "Jungle" to get "jngl". By chance, I found that the domain jn.gL was available to buy. I bought it for my personal website.
The .gl domain is Greenland's country code top-level domain (ccTLD) in the Internet's Domain Name System.
